The Arc of Amador and Calaveras Whole Life Services

The Arc also offers Supported Living Services out of our Whole Life Services (WLS) office. WLS emphasizes that having a complete life includes more than just having a place to live. Services in this program are designed to encourage people to live in the situation of their choice while achieving personal growth and community participation.

Supported Living Offers:

Help with developing a healthy support system
Transportation advocacy and training
Help finding housing and roommates (when appropriate)
Assistance with moving into and furnishing home
Home and community safety support
Help with hiring and coordinating IHSS (In Home Support Services)
Support in securing and getting to medical appointments
Assistance with money management
Meal planning, shopping, and cooking support
