Working as a volunteer can be extremely rewarding. There are many ways in which individuals and groups can volunteer at the club. If you are planning on volunteering in a sustained way and working with our participants (such as tutoring or running programs) we require that you go through an orientation and pass a criminal background check. If you are with a group or you are interested in volunteering on a time-specific project (such as a campus cleanup, a one-time event with participants, at a campus-sponsored special event, etc.) you will not be required to complete a background check. When you submit your application or call to speak with the Office Manager, please let us know your interests. Contact the Arc’s Office Manager for information on The Arc of Amador & Calaveras Counties Volunteer Program. Click here to download the Volunteer Program Application
Corporate and group volunteers volunteering on a one time basis will be required to fill out the Corporate Group Volunteer Sign Up Form . You may download this form and fill it out prior to the event. Forward the form to the site director where your volunteer event will be held.
