Welcome to The Arc of Amador and Calaveras Counties!

~Our mission is to provide support and services to persons with
developmental disabilities so they can better live, work, learn,
and recreate in the mainstream of life.~

Most of the people The Arc serves have a primary diagnosis of mental retardation,

which is defined as "slowed or delayed in development or progress."
    This simply means that these individuals sometimes have to
      work harder and longer to acquire certain skills.

Job Opportunities
APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT

Applications for employment may also be picked up at the Amador or Calaveras offices.


The Arc accepts applications on a continuous basis for employment with our Community Service Program, Supported Employment Program, and Supported Living Program.

Please note that we hire people with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, great references and a good driving record.

The Arc also tests for alcohol and drug abuse. Only individuals who test negative for drugs and alcohol will be considered for employment.
